He eventually decided to dedicate himself to trail and mountain races, which besides running combine a lot of hiking on the mountains which entails quick decision making when confronted with physical obstacles. Parallel to running in 2016, he studied and became a certified personal trainer, specializing on strength and conditioning training. He is a great believer that strength training and cardio exercise go hand in hand.
He currently works as an independent Personal Trainer and through his first-hand experience and knowledge gathered over the years is well able to develop tailor made programs that fit the personal needs of each client. He recently obtained his Running Coach certification from UESCA and is training individuals who want not only to improve their overall fitness but also participate in running events.
He has attended various fitness workshops and seminars as well as many running and workout retreats held by the best athletes and coaches in Greece. Steve is a firm believer that a program of regular training and the discipline it requires improves not only the physical wellbeing but also the mental health of an individual. Steve’s mission “is inspiring people to lead a more active lifestyle and overcome their limitations by developing enhanced mental and physical endurance”.
